The weekend ended with another birthday party (one of Maya's friends), a book club gathering and some time out in my backyard. I usually dislike going out into my backyard as it is not at all what I would like for it to be. There's a lot of concrete, a strip of half-dead lawn and a block wall surrounding it all. But on this day I am choosing to see the beauty that lies in my own backyard and in my life. Hope your day was blessed as well.
