Our day-late Easter egg hunt (due to Maya's stomach flu) with her friend Mia, was a good start on her road to recovery but she's still not herself yet and we're hoping she's better very soon.
We have a little butterfly "weed" out in the backyard which is constantly housing monarch caterpillars so we were thrilled to find one of their cocoons on a pot nearby. The whole cycle is fascinating and we can't wait to see the little creature that comes out.

sweet little girls... what fun to be little again looking for candy and eggs in the backyard. hmmm maybe we should do that one day except with target gift certificates and mochas.
